AHBA
The Alberta Home Builders association provides an environment that effectively unites all professionals involved with the home building industry to build safe, healthy, comfortable homes to the satisfaction of customers and the success of its members.

The AHBA is a network of professionals who use strategic alliances to effectively manage home building related industry issues to the satisfaction and betterment of its members and the community they serve.

BBB
OUR MISSION is to promote and foster the highest ethical relationship between businesses and the public through voluntary self-regulation, consumer and business education, and service excellence.

The Council of Better Business Bureaus is the umbrella organization for the Better Business Bureau (BBB) system, which was founded in 1912 and is today supported by 250,000 local business members nationwide. It is dedicated to fostering fair and honest relationships between businesses and consumers, instilling consumer confidence and contributing to an ethical business environment.

The CBBB is supported by its membership consisting of nearly 300 leading-edge national corporations, and by 129 local Better Business Bureaus. The CBBB and all local Better Business Bureaus are private, non-profit organizations funded by membership dues and other support.

CEDIA
The Custom Electronic Design & Installation Association (CEDIA) is a global trade association of companies that specialize in planning and installing electronic systems for the home. These systems include home networking, home automation and communication systems, media rooms, single or multi-room entertainment systems, and integrated whole-house subsystems providing control of lighting, security and HVAC systems. The association was founded in September 1989 and has a total membership of approximately 2,200 member companies.

CEDIA members are established, insured businesses with bona fide qualifications and experience in this specialized field. Member classifications include designer/installers, manufacturers, sales representatives, distributors, consultants and affiliates.

CRHBA
The CRHBA is affiliated with both the Alberta Home Builders Association (AHBA) and Canadian Home Builders Association (CHBA). Our focus is legislation at all three levels of government that impacts the residential construction industry, and ultimately the consumer.

The CRHBA has been in existence for over 55 years, and strives to provide an environment that effectively unites all professionals involved with the home building industry to build safe, healthy comfortable homes to the satisfaction of customers and the success of our members.

One of the most successful home builders associations in Canada, the CRHBA offers the public the security of knowing that all members adhere to an enforced code of ethics. The CRHBA also offers many public events and campaigns, and provides information to help the homebuyer make decisions in an informed manner. Look for the home builders logo when dealing with your professional builder, renovator, supplier or trade.
